The Dark Craftsmen project started in 1999.
Alex Churton met up with Lee Mintram through Movement Records in Southampton and with a mutual love for Hip Hop they started working on some demo's.
They sent out their first few demos to various labels and ended up signing with UK RAP records ran by DJ Halo of The Criminal Minds fame.
Their first outing on vinyl as DCM was True Vandal backed with Whispers Of A Madman and was released on vinyl through UK RAP records in 2001.
This was followed a year later in 2002 by the Creepshow EP again released on UK RAP. By now Alex had recruited Cold Blooded Rhymer into the DCM.
Due to unforeseen problems DCM split with UK RAP records and it seemed like their debut album would never see the light of day.
Everything sat in limbo for 3 years until Eastborn stepped in and suggested releasing the album through his Dropzone records imprint.
A deal was done and the No Shadows On Your Sundial album was released but only available on CD and only in its un-mastered form.
Fast forward 12 years and the No Shadows On Your Sundial album is now set to be released in a deluxe digital version, fully remastered and also featuring the Creepshow EP as well...
